This is a project to create a virtual world based on the OpenSimulator platform.

- 2009-01-26: Set up iptables firewall at VPS host.
- 2009-01-25: Set up Ubuntu Server 8.04 environment with Mono 2.0.1 and OpenSimulator server 0.6.2.8132 at external VPS host.
- 2009-01-24: Set up backup and update routines, updated to VirtualBox 2.1.2 and OpenSimulator server 0.6.2.8131.
- 2009-01-22: Used terrain tile texture in world map rendering.
- 2009-01-21: Learned to update grid world map. Got grid version of OpenSimulator server running stable using screen.
- 2009-01-19: Created, imported, applied, scaled and saved a one-region terrain map of Scandinavia.
- 2009-01-18: Remotely created and connected to a 9 region grid version of OpenSimulator server 0.6.1.8072 running on MacBook.
- 2009-01-17: Remotely updated to Mono 2.0.1, got a standalone and grid version of OpenSimulator server 0.6.1.8066 running on MacBook, and connected.
- 2009-01-16: Started web server Apache2 on Ubuntu Server in VirtualBox.
- 2009-01-15: Got Airport Extreme (router) and VirtualBox ports configured for external access.
- 2009-01-08: Got dynamic DNS from DynDNS.com.
- 2009-01-02: Got first a standalone and then a local grid version of OpenSimulator server 0.6.1.7910 running on MacBook.
- 2008-12-30: Installed VirtualBox 2.1.0 with Ubuntu Server 8.10 on a MacBook 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with OS 10.4.11.
- 2008-12-16: Managed to build and install OpenDynamicsEngine on iMac, but not functioning.
- 2008-12-15: Started trying to get OpenDynamicsEngine working on iMac.
- 2008-12-14: Got first a standalone and then a local grid version of OpenSimulator server 0.5.0 running on iMac.
- 2008-12-11: Started trying out OpenSimulator on an iMac G5 1.5 GHz with OS 10.4.11.
- 2007-05-13: Entered the virtual world Second Life.
- 2000: Started working with 3D softwares POV-Ray, Carrara 1 and Poser 3 on Macintosh.
- 1999: Created first 3D world using 3D software RayDream Studio 5 on iMac G3 233 MHz with OS 8.1.
- 1995: Created first 3D scenes on the web using VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language, later X3D).
- 1994: Started working with WWW and set up first WWW server.
- 1990: Started working with Internet, Macintosh computers and imaging software Adobe Photoshop.
- 1981: Wrote 2-pass rendering software using BASIC on ABC800 with 2.2 MHz 8 bit Z80 processor, 32 KB RAM, 2x640 KB diskettes.
- 1977: Started working with computers and programming: BASIC on an ABC80 (Swedish Advanced Basic Computer for the 80's).
